(CHEONGJU=NEWSIS) North Chungcheong Province and the Chungbuk Technopark have established a trade delegation to India comprising people from regional small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in industries including cosmetics, photovoltaics, electric and electronic and construction equipment. The group left to Delhi and Haryana on February 22 for eight days.
Dr. Udit Raji, an Indian Member of Parliament, officially invited the group during his visit to the Chungbuk Technopark last October.
The province and Chungbuk Technopark signed a memorandum of agreement with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India to build a strategically friendly relationship.
"The Indian market will become a breakthrough to the weak export market. We will provide tailored support for our regional SMEs to encourage them to enter the Indian market," said President Nam Chang Hyun of the Chungbuk Technopark.
