(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) North Chungcheong announced a comprehensive plan to nurture the province as the global hub of the convergence bioceramic material industry.

The province aims to come up with detailed implementation plans after studying strategies and issues in three categories: medi-bio, beauty bio, and industry bio.

"Based on the plan, we will come up with policies and incentives to attract companies in the convergence bioceramic material field," said a provincial official.

After adopting the convergence bio industry for the first time in the nation in 2014, North Chungcheong held an industrial forum last year and attracted a center for convergence bioceramic materials slated to open in March next year.
