According to Yonhap News,

(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) Traditional markets in North Chungcheong Province will participate in the 'Korea Sale Festa', South Korea’s biggest shopping and tourism festival which runs from Sep 29 to Oct 31, according to the North Chungcheong Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA).

During the event period, discounts of up to 80% will be offered on agricultural products as well as fishery and livestock products and KRW 5,000 vouchers will be given for purchase of KRW 40,000 or more.

Sweepstakes promotions and cultural events including music concerts and fashion shows will be held in traditional markets in Cheongju as part of the festival.

"This festival will not be a one-off event but will be part of our continued effort to vitalize traditional markets," said an official of the SMBA.
