According to Yonhap News,

(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) North Chungcheong Province announced that small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the province signed export deals worth USD 3.95 million through a province's project to tap into the Middle East market.

The province sent trade delegations to Iran, Egypt, and Morocco for nine days from September 23 to October 1 jointly with the Small & Medium Business Corporation North Chungcheong Branch.

Ten local SMEs participated in the delegation and held export consultations worth USD 20.41 million with buyers in the Middle East.

"Korean products excellent in technology and quality are highly competitive in the Middle East and North African markets. We will continue to help local companies expand their businesses to these markets," said a provincial official.
