(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) A supplier of food additives based in Belgium invests USD 60 million to build a manufacturing facility in the Boeun Industrial Complex District 2 in North Chungcheong Province. The company will be the first foreign company moving in the industrial zone.




Boeun County entered into a memorandum of understanding with Belgian VEOS Group in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province on October 25, 2016.

The company will build a plant for medical supplies and food additives on the site of 33,000 square meters by 2020.

Established in 1973, the company is a global manufacturer operating production facilities in 10 countries. Its annual sales exceed USD 100 million.
