According to Yonhap News,
(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) Lot sales of industrial complexes in North Chungcheong Province are meeting rising demand, thanks largely to the province's active efforts to promote investment.
The province announced that total size of lots sold in industrial complexes increased almost three-fold from 89,400㎡ in 2013 to 2,605,000㎡ as of August 2016.
With increase in sales, only 5.2% of land remained unsold as of August, sharply reduced from 8.2% of the end of last year.
The rise in sales is attributed to transportation network easily accessible to all regions in Korea. Its close location to the metropolitan area and a large pool of talent were also helped boost sales.
North Chungcheong plans to establish new industrial complexes catered to demand of businesses and attract more investment going forward.
