(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) The Chungbuk Free Economic Zone Authority announced that it has concluded investment agreements with four domestic companies and one Chinese company for investment of KRW 39.5 billion in the Osong Biopolis.
A&CM will build a nuts processing facility and Yujin Hitech will build a microbial fermenter and cell culture equipment manufacturing plant. Milae ML will build a health functional food production facility while MQ Tech will set up a factory to produce premium battery pack.
Chinese IT firm Sytec will invest 8 billion won in the industrial zone to build a plant by 2022.
"We will support the five companies to help them grow into world-class companies," an official from the Chungbuk Free Economic Zone Authority said.
