Chungbuk, Gangwon Medical Device Companies Sign to Export USD 8.59 Mln at Dubai Expo

According to Yonhap News, 


(WONJU=Yonhap) At the Arab Health 2018 held in Dubai, a joint medical device pavilion for Korea's Gangwon and North Chungcheong Provinces signed to export a total of USD 8.59 million to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Jordan, India and Egypt.

Arab Health 2018, an international medical device exhibition, was held at the Dubai International Convention Center from January 29 to February 1.

A total of 13 companies participated at 18 booths in the Gangwon-Chungbuk joint pavilion.

The pavilion was organized by the Wonju Medical Device Techno Valley since 2010 to help local companies make inroads into Middle Eastern markets.

A Gangwon-Chungbuk joint pavilion will also be installed at the Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) 2018 set to be held this coming March in Seoul.
