(DANYANG=Yonhap News) Dangyang County, Chungbuk's 2017 regional tourism development index was rated first class by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Dangyang County received the highest rating for all three areas of evaluation including the tourism policy competency index, accommodation index and the spending power index.
