(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) The Bio Festival 2018 will be held on September 4 to 5 at Osong C&V Center in Chungbuk Province.

Organized by Chungbuk-do Province and Osong Bio Promotion Foundation, the Bio Excellence & Bio Symposium will be held under the theme of accelaration of bio medicine development. It will serve as a platform for bio researchers to exchange information on current research technologies.

International scholars including Professor Serge Muyldermans from the University of Brussel and Professor Arne Skerra from Technical University of Munich will attend as speakers.

A job fair is also included in the festival to give an introduction of pharmaceuticals field to college students and job seekers.

Experts on site will provide advice on career to the youth, and Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health & Welfare (KOHI) will introduce its "Health Industry HR Integrated Platform."

Booths will be operated for company PR and employment counseling, and Daejeon Regional Office of Food and Drug Safety will hold a briefing session to introduce the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the pharmaceutical industry.
