According to Yonhap News,

(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) Chungbuk Content Korea Lab that supports projects related to cultural contents had the opening ceremony on September 20 at Cheongju Advanced Culture Industrial Complex.

The Chungbuk Content Korea Lab was selected as a project by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and will be implemented with a budget of KRW 11.5 billion.

Chungcheongbukdo Knowledge Industry Promotion Agency and Cheongju Cultural Industry Promotion Foundation will operate cultural creation and building planning ability programs, including lectures, design thinking camp, 365 idea contests.

Various project will be promoted such as identifying culture-related startups, startup accelerating project to provide systematic support and providing network support for creators.

"Chungbuk Content Korea Lab will create a foundation for promoting new industry by creating cultural ecosystem, and create jobs for the youth," said an official from the Province.
