Chungbuk-do and Eumseong-gun signed an investment agreement of KRW 140 billion with Hankook Capability, a manufacturer of auto parts.
Hankook Capability plans to move its head office, currently in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, and all business sites to a site of 95,125 square meters in Yuchon Industrial Complex, Eumseong until 2024.
When construction is completed, it will be able to supply vehicle seatbelts and airbags to 29 customers from 22 countries around the world.
The provincial and county governments will provide necessary administrative support, while Hankook Capability is to make efforts to revitalize regional economy.
