According to Yonhap News,
(GOESAN=Yonhap News)
Sales of lots in Daeje Industrial Park of Goesan-gun, Chungbuk-do are well underway.
Chungbuk-do and Goesan-gun signed investment agreements with three companies including Kin Food, a food seasoning product producer, at Goesan-gun office on July 22.
They plan to invest KRW 26.8 billion until 2023 to build factories on the sites of 88,531 square meters in Daeje Industrial Park.
Once the factories are up and running, Goesan-gun expects that about 100 jobs will be created.
With the agreements, 96.2 percent of the Industrial Complex is sold, with only two block left for sale.
As there are some companies showing the intention of investment, Goesan-gun expects the sales of two blocks will be complete by later this year.
Daeju Industrial Complex is established on the site of 849,390 square meters in Daedeok-ri and Jewol-ri. It began selling lots in November 2015, attracting 30 companies. Of them, 15 companies already built plants, which are in operation.
As Goesan-gun expects 100 percent of sales to be complete within this year, it will actively attract investment in Goesan High-Tech Industrial Complex currently under construction.
The high-tech complex is to be built on the site of 465,148 square meters in Cheongyong-ri and Jocheon-ri, with current process rate reaching 47 percent. Its construction is likely to be complete next year.
A mayor of Goesan-gun said, "With companies moving in to Daeje Industrial Complex, Goesan is regaining economic vitality thanks to job creation and inflow of workforce," adding that "We will do our best to attract good companies to High-Tech Industrial Complex as well."
