(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) Chungcheongbuk-do(Chungbuk Province)and the city of Cheongju reached a KRW50 billion investment agreement on Sep 27 with two partners: Cosmo AM &T CO LTD., and MOUNT G&D at the Cheongju city hall.

Financing KRW4.3 billion till the end of next year, Cosmo AM &T CO LTD.,specializing in environmentally sustainable advanced materials: Cathode active materials, release film, toners etc., is currently scheduled to expand the business site(1,3200m3), moving from the existing facilities located near Mock Hang Hong.

MOUNT G&D, partnering Hyundai Elevator to produce machine parts, also set a KRW 7billion investment plan for building up a new manufacturing plant (4965m in Eomjeong myeon, Shinman Ri)with 43 new employees.

The city provides administrative suport for the financing process.
