CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Cheongju, (YONHAP) 2019 Osong cosmetics/ beauty expo takes place for 5 days from Oct 22.

For the opening ceremony, held in KTX Osong station, over 500 guests that include the Minister of Health and Welfare attended to celebrate the event.

The expo attracts 238 cosmetics and beauty businesses in Korea and 400 buyers overseas this year.

While giving a speech at the ceremony, the governor of the province said "At the center of the indutrial growth, there's Osong cosmetics/ beauty expo that helps anyone involved in the business can catch up with up to date trends."

The governor signed an MOU with Chiniese counterpart for en investment worth USD 3.6 billion. Under the bilateral pact, a large swaths of land that extends to as much as 10,800m2 will turn into a ginat production line for the next three years.

The expo comes to an end Oct 26.
