CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Boeun county, North Chungcheong Province announced on Feb. 28 on the launch of undergrounding, which starts from Mar. 2. This three-year project covers three separate lanes that reaches almost to 1.58㎞ near Samsan village.

The first phase of the construction, which costs nearly KRW 3.6 billion, begins with Dongdari- Jangshin 1 bridge (0.58㎞) this year. The process goes gradually in the year 2021 and 2022, covering Intercity bus terminal-Sansangyo (0.53㎞) and Nonghyeopgoon~Namdari(0.50㎞). A county official said “When the project is over, we can highly improve community landscape, safety for pedestrians and traffic conditions. This would also work a lot to prevent any possible natural or manmade disasters.”
