CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The city of Cheongju announced an industrial cluster development plan on Mar. 6, saying the authorities will have eight additional business clusters by the year 2025. The sites to be developed extend to 9,100㎡.

Cheongju Technopolis (3rd district), near Heungduk Gu, has already started with process for land compensation since last December. Going through a series of administrative process for masterplanning & environmental impact assessment, S.Cheongju Hyeondo industrial complex, near Seowon Gu, has been officially approved last January.

Ochang Technopolis, which once came to a halt due to shortage of funds, started to resume the development process since last year.

In addition, Guksa industrial cluster, S.Ochang Techno Valley, Oksan the 2nd industrial cluster, N.Isan industrial cluster, Cheongju Hightech Valley also put their names onto the list for the development project.

The province is now waiting for the opening of the 2nd Osong Bioengineering cluster, either.
