North Chungcheong Pro. to roll out a contingency plan for marketing on behalf of local SMEs
North Chungcheong Province announced on Mar. 23 that the local authorities is embarking on a contingency project, which helps local SMEs branch out into overseas markets as business activities nationwide have all stalled due to the widespread of coronavirus.
The provincial authorities said businesses’ client-facing process has all stopped as almost 176 countries have been imposing an entry ban on travelers from S.Korea since the outbreak of the deadly virus.
Amid the mounting fear of business disruptions, the province set to work with KOTRA KBCs holding in-person meeting on the ground on behalf of businesses stuck in Korea. The contingency plan lasts for three months, covering client management, sampling simulation and business traveling agent.
