According to Yonhap News,

Jecheon city in North Chungcheong Province signed an investment contract with Infac, an auto-parts maker on Feb 2 over the establishment of a new manufacturing facility, producing an electronic parking brake and valve actuator in the 3rd Industrial Cluster in Jechoen city. Detailed investment value still remains unknown. Under the investment agreement, Infac is forecast to add approximately 300 new jobs.

Jechoen city is assessed to lay foundation for the automotive cluster, which came on the back of subsequent investment following 2019 when Infac EPM, an Infac’s affiliate making EV battery module, has moved part of its business into the Jechoen cluster.

The city mayor said “A business with full potential to bring added value to the economy decided to come to the city. We’ll spare no effort to provide all forms of administrative supports to the investor.”
