According to Yonhap News,
The city of Cheongju and Chungbuk Technopark signed an MOU on Mar 18 over a partnership deal to co-develop an online B2B platform, which aims largely to help locally based pharmaceutical-bio healthcare businesses find new sales channels overseas. Chungbuk Technopark in charge of the project forms a sales platform as a means to advertise products and services, conduct market research and run sales promotion and marketing for a dozen promising companies headquartered within the community.
The Technopark will start the recruitment process at the end of this month to find the best candidates to take part in the project.
A city official said “We’ve finally decided to make such KRW 700 million investment in forming the online marketing platform to help local businesses sign over 20 trade contracts, worth over USD 10 million, with potential business partners across the world by the end of this month.”
