Chungju-si, Chungbuk-do signed Investment MOU with Geonwoong Machinery and ENCeramictec on May 27.

Geonwoong Machinery, a partner of Hyndai Elevator, is to build a new factory (3,305 sq. meters) to produce elevator components on the area of 11,615 sq. meters in Dong Chungju Industrial Complex, with KRW 15 billion over the next five years, creating 60 jobs.
ENCeramictec, which produces wastewater filtering media, is to build a new factory (1,050 sq. meters) in Daejeon-ri, Dongrayng-myeon, with KRW 5 billion over the next three years, employing 30 workers.

The City, on the occasion of MOU signing, has launched a council of investment attraction citizens consist of those from companies and tourism.

They will help building the consensus of investment attraction, offering advice on investment attraction, and providing information to companies hoping to attract investment, over the next two years.
