Chungbuk-do signed MOU of 'Quality product home shopping' with SK Store and The Council of Social Enterprise Chungbuk (CSEC) to help social enterprises in the province expand sales channels.
The parties to the MOU are committed to promoting products, bolstering competitiveness, and extending distribution channels of social enterprises.
Chungbuk-do will be responsible for establishing a plan to support home-shopping sales and identifying products. It will select two enterprises, supporting 10 million won for each in homeshopping sales operating cost. SK Store is to reduce home-shopping sales commission, manage quality, provide consultation to improve product quality, and support sales in connection with its alliance malls like NAVER and Coupang.
CSEC is set to promote products in various ways, and in charge of managing distribution and stores.
An official said, "We hope this support helps social enterprises, which have suffered from the prolonged COVID-19, to secure sales channels. We'll continue to identify various contactless support measures."
