Jecheon city, North Chungcheong Province signed investment MOA with Envioneer and its subsidiary Sepratek, which are specialized in advanced materials on June 30.
Envioneer, specialized in high-functioning advanced composite materials including filtration media, built a factory in the second Bio Valley in 2011.
It was designated as a global hidden champion by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) in April, 2021, recognized for hits innovation capacity and growth potential.
With an investment worth KRW 30 billion, it is to expand Jecheon factory and conduct research and development (R&D) by 2024; build production facilities for carbon fiber composite materials; and build a new factory in Jecheon's 3rd industrial complex by 2026.
Sepratek, a membrane manufacturing and processing company, is to build research and production facilities on the area of 2,600㎡ in the 3rd industrial complex by 2026, producing membranes and modules applying membrane contactor and pervaporation technology.
Once investment of the two companies are completed, it is expected to create 130 new jobs.
