Chungju's mayor and three CEOs signed investment agreements on January 26 at Chungju City Hall, pledging to work together towards efficient investment implementation, job creation, and administrative support.

HTL is a manufacturer of seamless flavor capsule that goes into various foods including tobaccos and cosmetics. It plans to build a production facility of 3016㎡ on the site of 6173㎡ in Dongchungju Industrial Complex by investing KRW 10 billion.

CNS Food, a producer of processed food including Sweet and Sour Pork, Spit-roasted rice cake, plans to build a food processing plant of 2735㎡ on the site of 3135㎡ in the same industrial complex by investing KRW 6.5 billion.

CSM is a manufacturer of optical and polarizing films. It will invest KRW 5.7 billion in expanding its business. It plans to build a plant of 1980㎡ that will produce parts for secondary battery on the site of 3135㎡.

When the three companies start operating new factories in Chungju, the city expects it will create 100 new jobs.
