CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The Okcheon Techno Valley General Industrial Complex in North Chungcheong Province, where 28 companies will move in, was completed on March 17.

Chungbuk-do and Okcheon-gun held a completion ceremony in the presence of Chunbguk's Governor and Okcheon's Governor.

KRw 51.7 billion has been invested in this industrial complex, which is 357,831 square meters. Construction, began in 2017, was completed in five years.

28 companies have signed a occupancy contract with Okcheon-gun, since the announcement of the sale in November 2019, recording 100% sales completion.

The companies to move in include 9 auto parts related companies, 6 food manufacturing companies, 5 metal related companies, and 2 pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.

Since Chung Yang Foods moved in April last year, 10 companies have been producing. 4 companies are building factories, and 14 will move in by the end of this year.

The investment amount attracted reached KRW 230 billion, while 1,500 jobs have been created.
