On March 25, Jecheon-si, Chungbuk-do signed an investment agreement with INNOHAS, a food-tech startup, on construction of a plant in the 3rd industrial complex.

INNOHAS is to complete the construction of its plant with a total floor area of 7,740 square meters on the site of 6,853 square meters in the 3rd industrial complex by July this year.

The investment amount is KRW 15 billion, and about 80 people are expected to be hired.

INNOHAS is a producer and distributor of plant based meat, and succeeded in entering the US market, beyond the domestic market, with its 'good food' that cares about health, animal welfare, and improvement of environmental contamination.

Its CEO said, "We've decided to invest in Jecheon 3rd industrial complex in consideration of its excellent location and active administrative support of Chungbuk-do and Jecheon-si," adding "we will be a company that can achieve win-win growth with the local development."
