CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do announced on April 3 that the cumulative amount of investment attraction, since the beginning of t7th popularly elected government, has exceeded KRW 9 trillion.

Since the launch of the 7th popularly elected government in July 2018, the amount of investment attraction has increased every year to KRW 1.2 trillion in 2019, KRW 2.02 trillion in 2020, and KRW 4.3 trillion last year.

This year, it has already achieved an investment of KRW 600 billion. There are 18 companies which have invested more than KRW 100 billion.

The case in point are: DB HiTek, a system semiconductor foundry company; Hanwha Solutions, a solar power solution company; Green Cross MS, a dialysate producer; and Coupang, which builds an advanced logistics center.

The number of jobs to be created amounts to 5,800.

Eumseong-gun has been selected as the No.1 in attracting investment in Chungcheongbuk-do for two-years in a row for such investment attraction achievements.
