CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Chungbuk Province and Chungju City signed an MOU on investment worth KRW 16 billion with Tricom Bio and Food-zzang Food.

TricomBio, which distributes raw materials for health food, will build a plant of 4,300㎡ manufacturing health functional foods, such as protein powder, on a site of 18,612 ㎡ in the Dongchungju Industrial Complex. It plans to invest KRW 11 billion over the next five years.

In addition, Food-zzang Food, a food manufacturer, plans to invest KRW 5 billion over the next five years to build a food production facility for galbitang and steamed ribs on a site of 3,038㎡ area in Dongchungju Industrial Complex.

Chungju's mayor said, "Tricom Bio and Food-zzang are expected to contribute to job creation and revitalization of the local economy as they each plan to hire 50 employees," adding "Chungju will actively support these companies to settle down and grow further."
