CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Chungbuk-do and the Chungbuk Office of Education announced that they reached an agreement on the sharing ration of free meals from 2023 to 2026 by the time the eighth term of the popular election ends.

Chungbuk-do will share 60% of food expenses while the education office will share 40% of food expenses and the entire cost of facility, operation, and labor costs.

The total food expenses for next year come to KRW 101.2 billion - Si and gun are burdened with paying KRW 60.72 billion, and the education office KRW 40.48 billion.

Mayor Kim and Head Yoon said that "during the term we will maintain the top-level food expenses among nine provinces nationwide," at the press conference.

In the meantime, the province and the education office also decided to actively cooperate to first use Chungbuk agricultural products for food cafeteria meals.
