CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

KOSME and Chungcheonbuk-do signed an MOU on Apr.28 for working together to foster the rechargeable battery industry and other major sectors in Chungcheonbuk-do.

The MOU signed recently aimed at intensively developing major sectors in Chungcheonbuk-do by utilizing KOSME-backed policy tools as well as R&D and manufacturing infrastructures in the region.

Those two reaffirmed that they will continuously make concerted efforts in sharing information on industry and business trends, operating a cooperation network in the region, building facilities for collaboration, proceeding group buying of raw materials, and strengthening support in export.

In particular, with growing investment in facilities in the region from major corporations such as LG Energy Solution, the two will make close cooperation in establishing the overall ecosystem of the rechargeable battery industry ranging from upstream to downstream and ensuring high competitiveness in SMEs.
