CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Jecheon, Chungbuk province signed an MOU with K-water Chungju office on June 14, deciding to build urban amenities in Dogok-ri, Cheongpung-myeon.

The planned amenities will be constructed on 16,216 square meters of unused land bounded by Cheongpungho lake. At Bibong peak, connected by cable cars or monorail cars from the ground, you can take in a grand view of the area.

Jecheon and K-water will invest KRW 800 million together by 2026 to construct trails, sculptures, and photo spots.

An official of Jecheon city said, "Bibong peak has a commending view of Dogok-ri, and it is not a stretch to say the scenery is as beautiful as that of Dadohae Sea National Park in the South and West sea." and "We will ensure that with the project Dogok-ri will become a representative tourism hotspot in the region."
