Chungbuk-do and Jeungpyeong-gun signed an investment agreement worth KRW 151.6 billion with Kyeryong Construction Industrial, the implementer of the Jeungpyeong 3 Industrial Complex construction project.
Kyeryong Construction Industrial plans to build a 764,000㎡ (230,000 pyeong) industrial complex in Songjeong-ri, Doan-myeon by 2028.
The company agreed to expand its investment and revitalize the local construction industry in the process of implementing the project.
Chungbuk-do and Jeungpyeong-gun plan to provide administrative support to ensure that the project can be carried out without a hitch.
A provincial official said "Jeungpyeong is close to Cheongju, Jincheon, and Eumseong, and demand for its industrial land is increasing due to the expansion of metropolitan transportation networks such as Chungcheong Inland Expressway" .
