On November 7, Chungju-si, Chungbuk-do, signed an investment agreement worth KRW 13.2 billion with Ecotecheng, an aluminum composite panel manufacturer, and PoriBio, a pharmaceutical company.
Ecotecheng, located in the Megapolis Industrial Complex in Seochungju, plans to invest KRW 8.6 billion to increase production capacity through establishment of a 1,983㎡ factory on a 6,519㎡ site in Dongchungju Industrial Complex.
When the new plant goes into operation, it will hire 34 people.
PoriBio plans to invest KRW 4.6 billion to establish a plant on a 3,666㎡ site in Dongchungju Industrial Complex and employ 22 people.
Poribio, which specializes in producing PDRN and PN, a tissue regeneration material extracted from Salmonid fishes, also plans to relocate its headquarters and factory from Eumseong to Chungju.
