CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

On February 13, Danyang-gun, Chungbuk-do announced that it will support KRW 18 million in fund per person for a business founding, by selecting five prospective young business founders.

Those eligible are Danyang residents aged 19-49. However, those residing other regions also are eligible for application if they move their address to Danyang.

The business founding fund can be used for promotion, rental, and interior expenses.

The applicant should submit required documents including a business plan to Economic Division of Danyang-gun government on February 19-March 8.

Danyang-gun has assisted 26 young people to start a business since 2019, including KRW 160 million business foundation fund provided to 7 founders last year.

An official from the county government said, "we will revitalize the local economy and facilitate inflow of young people by discovering competent and promising young founders."
