Chungju-si, Chungbuk-do signed investment agreement worth KRW 6.2 billion with three companies including Daehae Energy, on February 15.
Daehae Energy provides consultation related with development and production of secondary battery new materials and plans to build a 4,230 ㎡ lithium-ion battery plant on a site of 7,748 ㎡ in Dongchungju Industrial Complex by the end of the year.
It plans to invest KRW 40 billion over the next three years, hiring 70 workers.
Green Food, a convenience food producer, will invest KRW 5 billion to build a 1,413㎡ factory on a site of 3,873㎡ in Dongchungju Industrial Complex, commencing it next month.
Ecotech ENG, an aluminum composite panel producer, signed an investment agreement with Chungju-si in November last year, and will increase investment from the initially planned KRW 8.6 billion to KRW 17 billion.
It plans to build a 3,790㎡ production plant on a site of 15,446㎡ in Dongchungju Industrial Complex and hire 50 workers.
