According to Yonhap News,

Okcheon-gun, Chungbuk-do announced that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second agricultural industrial complex in Dongan-ri, Okcheon-eup on April 18, beginning the construction work in earnest.

With KRW 19 billion including Chungbuk's balanced development project expenses, the complex will be developed in the scale of 78,326 square meters and attracts attention of businesses due to its proximity to the downtown city and Okcheon IC of Gyeongbu Expressway (5 minutes-distance).

The complex is expected to be completed by the end of next year.

Okcheon-gun plans to have about 10 companies in the machinery, food, rubber, and plastic industries in the complex.

A county official said, "we have secured about 70% of the land for transfer, and will finalize other compensations to help the construction goes without problem."

In this area, six agricultural complexes (Okcheon, Dongyi, Yiwon, Cheongsan, Guil, and Gapung) and two industrial complexes (Cheongsan, Techno Valley) have been created, and sold 100%.
