On May 27, Daejeon-si announced that it has signed an MOU with Aero K to revitalize Cheongju International Airport to open and expand international routes.
The MOU contains agreements to provide administrative support to develop international routes, joint development of strategic routes, discounts on Daejeon citizens' flights, efforts to operate public transportation, and priority to local residents in hiring.
