CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

On July 17, Chungju-si, Chungbuk-do said that it was selected for "Bio Material Test and Evaluation Center Construction Project" by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

The center, which will be built near the Knowledge Industry Center in Chungju Enterprise City, will support research and development and test evaluation of SMEs related to biomaterials based on drug delivery system.

The project expense of KRW 26 billion will be spent on the construction of the center.

While the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL) will be in charge of the project, the Korea National University of Transportation and the Korea Research Council of Science & Technology (KBSI) will also participate.

A city official said, "It will help Chungju's efforts to attract companies in the field of biomaterials."
