CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

On August 8, Cheongju-si, Chungbuk-do announced that Osong Life Science National Complex was selected for "Aged Industrial Complex Regeneration Project" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT), securing KRW 17. 5 billion state funds.

Adding KRW 17.5 billion of local funds, the city plans to carry out infrastructure expansion projects such as expanding 1.7km of Osonggaracro (Mansu-Ssangcheong), improving intersections, reparing Hosu, Yeonju, Ssangcheon parks, and creating parking lots.

In addition, four-season playground will be added, such as a pool for summer, in Osong-eup, where the number of births has recently increased.

After the administrative procedures, the city plans to start construction in 2026, and complete the project gradually by 2029.

Osong Life Science National Complex is a national industrial complex designated in 1997, and has transformed to the largest Bio Valley in Korea.
