CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

On October 1, Cheongju-si announced that it signed an MOU on mutual understanding and friendship with Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan on September 30, to cooperate in economic and cultural areas, including the support for Cheongju-based companies' market entry.

The MOU signing was initiated when five Cheongju-based companies participated in the local export consultation held from September 29 to October 1, which prompted the meeting between Deputy Mayor of Cheongju Shin Byung-dae and Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov.

Deputy mayor Shin said, "Kyrgyzstan has great potential with increasing exchanges with Korea," adding that "this MOU will facilitate development for both sides."
