CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The 2024 Korean Medicine Bio Fair in Jecheon, held in Jecheon, Chungbuk-do, a city of oriental medicine, concluded in Jecheon Oriental Medicine Expo Park on October 7.

The city and Jecheon Korea Medicine Bio Promotion Foundation, which hosted and organized the Fair, tentatively counted that 280,000 people visited the event venue, including the Oriental Medicine Expo Park, during October 2-7.

The Fair, held under the slogan of "Jecheon, the center of oriental medicine, healing, and rest" featured "Korean medicine natural products industry hall" that selles products of companies in the local Korean medicine clusters and "Korean medicine natural products Expo PR hall" that provides information of the natural products industry.

The city saw that the Fair produced some practical achievements in that Vietnam's local export agency participating in the fair signed export agreements with three local Korean medicine companies.

This fair gave the city and the foundation a confidence to host the 2025 Jecheon International Oriental Medicine Natural Products Expo successfully.

Jecheon's mayor said, "we confirmed the potential to develop as an industrial fair and successfully host next year's expo."
