According to Yonhap News,

On July 15, Chungbuk-do and KOTRA's Chungbuk Support held the "Chungbuk Trade Meeting 2025" at the Cheongju Enford Hotel.

The event was organized to assist promising export companies facing challenges due to the global economic slowdown and sluggish domestic demand. A total of 58 local companies from industries such as agricultural products, cosmetics, and household goods, along with 25 overseas buyers from eight countries including Japan, China, Canada, and Vietnam, participated.

The buyers had the opportunity to take a close look at the products of local companies through the Digital Trade Comprehensive Support Center operated by Chungbuk-do, and engaged in one-on-one consultations on-site.

Deputy Governor for Political Affairs stated, "We will provide all-around support to help local export companies explore overseas markets amidst challenging trade conditions."

Chungbuk-do plans to continue promoting strategically fostering export companies through such means as export vouchers, export advisors, and certification and insurance support. Additionally, it will maintain its overseas marketing initiatives, including participation in international trade fairs, overseas trade delegations, and the operation of overseas sales offices to diversify export markets.
