According to Yonhap News,
North Chungcheong Province(Chungbuk) said on July 22 that it will organize a task force to revitalize Ochang and Osong designated as a functional district.
Task force will be composed of 6 provincial agencies, Chungbuk development research institute, Chungbuk Techno Park, Osong Biomedical Innovation Foundation and Ochang industrial complex management corporation.
Task force will find ways to develop the functional district, and present opinions on activities of science belt researchers.
It will convene a meeting starting next month to discuss the future plan.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology designated Daedeok Innopolis as a hub district of science belt, and Ochang and Osong as a functional distirct.
