According to Yonhap News,
Chungbuk said on August 16 that companies and agencies in the province decided to cooperate in revitalizing traditional markets.
Participants include Cheonju factories of Hynix Semiconductor and LG Chem, local education office, Seowon University, Korea Polytechnics and LG Hausys.
They are expected to exchange a sister relation agreement with traditional markets on August 17.
Under the agreement, they will conduct a campaign, urging people to shop at least once a month at traditional markets.
An official from the province said that the province will make its utmost efforts to invigorate traditional markets by increasing the number of participants from 260 to 500.
