The construction of four smart schools where students study utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is competed in Sejong.

The Administrative and Multi-Functional City authority said it will organize the completion ceremony at the stadium of Chamsan Elementary School on February 28 with about 300 participants including Vice Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Han Man-hui, Head of Administrative City Construction Office Song Gi-seop, teachers and parents.

The four smart schools including a kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools will open from March 2.

With the investment worth 69 billion won, the schools boast the best educational environment in Korea, being equipped with e-boards, smart pads, message boards and AP.

"We have established the smart schools considering educational environment is critical to developing Sejong into the global city. We will demonstrate some of the smart schools to the public during the ceremony," said Song.
