CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Song Jae-seong, President of Youngdong University, in North Chungcheong Province signed an exchange agreement with Go Jae-yun, President of Korea International Sommelier Association (KISA). The university has the Department of Wine and Food Fermentation Technology.

Both sides agreed to cooperate in sharing information on wine, organizing wine-related events, cultivating wine sommeliers and issuing the certificate for wine.

"The exchange program will give students who want to be a sommelier an opportunity to get education and training on wine and offer job opportunities," said Lee Hyo-seok, director of the Wine and Food Fermentation Technology Department.

The KISA is the only member of the Association de la Sommelier Internationale in Korea. It organizes annual sommelier contests on wine and Korean traditional liquors.
