According to Yonhap News,

The construction of Daeje Industrial Complex in Goisan-gun, North Chungcheong Province (Chungbuk) will speed up in the second half of this year.

Goisan held a signing ceremony for shareholders' agreement on the establishment of Special Purpose Corporation (SPC) to build the Daeje Industrial Complex. Korea Investment & Securities Co., Shindongah Engineering and Construction, Daehan Oil Pipeline Corporation and Dujin Construction participate in the creation of the SPC.

About 100 billion won will be injected into building the complex on an 854,517 square meter-land in Daedeok-ri and Jewol-ri, Goisan-eup. Goisan already got an approval for implementing the project from Chungbuk in May 2009, but has struggled with financial problems due to the economic slowdown.

If completed in 2013 as scheduled, the establishment of the complex will attract about 2,400 employees working at 20 companies, Goisan officials expect.
