According to Yonhap News,
Jecheon, north Chungcheong Province (Chungbuk) will operate an English education center from 2014.
Chungbuk Office of Education decided to invest 3.2 billion won in establishing an English education center by the first half of 2014, as an effort to enhance proficiency of elementary and middle school students in Jecheon and Danyang.
The center will provide three English classes for free-a basic and an advanced course for students and a conversation course for teachers.
If completed, the center will ease financial burden of private English education for residents of Jecheon and Danyang.
