Korea’s Jitan Station Sets Up Sisterhood Ties with Japan’s Hayabusa Station

According to Yonhap News,

Jitan Station, an unmanned train station on Gyeongbu Line, decided to establish a sisterhood relationship with Hayabusa Station, Japan's unmanned train station on Wakasa Line.

This is the first time that a Korean unmanned train station sets up a sisterhood ties with a foreign unmanned train station.

Both sides will dispatch a delegation group to co-organize cultural events.

Wakasa Railway appointed Yun Heui-il, honorary stationmaster of Jitan Station, as the honorary stationmaster of Hayabusa Station.
