Chungbuk Inks 200 Billion Investment Contracts with 6 Companies

According to Yonhap News,

North Chungcheong Province (Chungbuk) signed export contracts worth a total of 224.9 billion won with six companies - HYTC, NAMUWASAM, Hyundai P&C, SAMMOK S-FORM, EVERDIGM and Sunil Dyfas Corporation.

HYTC plans to build a 26,800 square meter-factory at Oksan Industrial Complex in Cheongwon-gun. If completed, the factory is expected to create 700 jobs.

NAMUWASAM agreed to construct a 3,300 square meter-production facility for tofu in Boeun-gun.

Hyundai P&C and SAMMOK S-FORM will establish a paint factory (11,390 square meter) and an export-oriented manufacturing facility (11,000 square meter) for construction materials, respectively, in Jincheon-gun.

The special vehicle manufacturer EVERDIGM and automotive component manufacturer Sunil Dyfas Corporation will build their factory in Jincheon-gun and Jincheon-eup, respectively.

The investment contracts will generate about 1,700 jobs, the province expects.

The investment has increased the number of companies attracted by Chungbuk to 1,414 for the past 14 months, which led to the creation of 49,000 jobs.
